Surface Water Intake Fish Screens and Fish Passage (SWISP) Project
Virtual Public Meeting
The Surface Water Intake Fish Screens and Fish Passage (SWISP) Project held public meetings through a web-based virtual environment from April 24, 2020 to May 26, 2020.
Visitors to the virtual meeting room were able to:
- Move from station to station to view project information and meeting materials;
- Provide comments on affected resources, issues to be considered, and potential alternatives;
- Read frequently asked questions and answers and pose additional questions for Reclamation.
The virtual meeting room website is optimized for mobile access, which enables users to utilize the meeting features on their phones as well as a computer.

Question and Answer Video Teleconference
In addition, Reclamation hosted a Q&A video teleconference on May 18, 2020 to provide another opportunity for the public to participate in the scoping process. A brief overview of the project was presented, and subject matter experts from Reclamation and the USFWS were available to answer questions about the project.
